We want to demonstrate the love of God in our lives, in a comprehensive and helpful service to the most disadvantaged individuals and social groups in our society, and all through the “Door to Hope” Association, whose goals are:
Development
Development of social action projects aimed at the most disadvantaged nuclei of our society; collaborating with the Spanish Red Cross, the Food Bank of Reus and the members of our church, currently helping 30 families.
Encourage
Encourage a positive and attractive vision of the city, through the creation of artistic and cultural initiatives that promote participation, peaceful coexistence and a feeling of belonging to the community of our immediate surroundings.
Contribute
Contribute to the best of our ability to minimize human and material damages in places where natural disasters occur.
Promote
Promote Christian principles in the society where we live.
To achieve these objectives, the Association promotes the following activities:
FOODS
Delivery of food, clothing, etc. to the most needy population of the city, without distinction as to sex, age, race, nationality, religion or ideology.
HELP
Establish programs to help and support other civil and religious entities, promoting and assisting in the development of their material and spiritual resources.
COLLOQUIES
Organization of conferences on ethical topics of general interest inspired by Christian values.
PROMOTE
Promote prevention programs, especially among those groups most likely to be victims of poverty and/or marginalization.
